Lots of information packed into this book. If you are a seashell lover, this is the book for you. Amazing photos that identify various shells.
I go to this book often to figure out what "treasure" we've brought home from the beach. Our visitors seem to enjoy the little tidbits I can share when we are beachcombing and that make each shell have a personality all its own. We own the set of Florida guides (trees, birds, animals, etc) and this is my favorite one of all (and I love them all). We love to collect shells on our beach walks and I can identify them easily with the color photos in this book plus learn a few interesting facts.
Great photos so you can easily match your shells to them. If you plan to visit the beaches of Flordia, this book is a must. We enjoy looking through the book after a day of shelling to see what "treasures" we found.
It is a comprehensive guide to identifying shells that are found on the Florida beaches. The book was exactly what I was looking for.
THe graphics weren't as professional as I had hoped, but overall it was/is still a decent book for Shelling information. This is written in a more story-telling way.
